The Science and Math Informal Educators (SMILE) pathway is being developed to provide an online collection of STEM activities for out-of-school educators working with learners from diverse backgrounds. SMILE's audience includes museums and science centers, educators working in outdoor and field trip programs, in-school and after-school programs, homeschoolers, educators supporting underrepresented communities, and community-based youth development centers. SMILE is a partnership of UC Berkeley's Lawrence Hall of Science, the Exploratorium, New York Hall of Science, Science Museum of Minnesota, Children's Museum of Houston, and the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC).
