Advances in Geosciences (ADGEO) is an international, interdisciplinary open-access journal, published by the European Geosciences Union, publishing collections of short papers in Earth, planetary, and solar-system sciences. The collections may include papers presented at scientific meetings (proceedings) or articles on a well-defined topic compiled by individual editors or organizations (special publications). Evaluation of manuscripts is handled by the organizers of the meeting or session or by the special-publication editor, together with their chosen referees; production of accepted articles is handled by EGU. The papers are archived in an online library and may be browsed by year and volume or by a list of recent papers. The collection is also searchable by keyword or by title, author, and year. Papers may be viewed online or downloaded for printing free of charge. Issues may also be purchased, on paper or CD-ROM (minimum order 20 copies), and off-prints of single articles may also be purchased.
