| Metadata Description: | The Enduring Resources for Earth Science Education (ERESE) Project provides educational resources for Earth science that combine classroom teaching and scientific research. These resources, from the EarthRef.org and SIOExplorer databases, include recent Earth science data and images; links to archived and ongoing field expeditions with daily image galleries, reports and video clips; inquiry-based lessons designed and implemented by teachers; and meteorological, geophysical and oceanographic data from hundreds of research cruises. The collection can be searched by predefined questions or by resource matrices, objects and materials for a certain concept or subject. Search results include a thumbnail of the object, resource type, grade level, file information, and a brief description. |
