EcoKids, an environmental education program presented by Earth Day Canada, involves elementary and middle-school students in community-based environmental science and conservation initiatives. Site materials include the EcoKids Club web pages, sites where club members share their accomplishments, and information on the "Great EcoKids Challenge," a nationwide contest in which Canadian students plan and execute projects that contribute to the environmental health of their communities. There are also games and puzzles, downloadable graphic materials (posters, coloring sheets), hands-on acivities focused on wildlife issues, climate change, and other topics, and a page of resources for help with homework. The teachers' page includes information on joining the EcoKids Club, downloadable curriculum materials, and resources for students who are learning English.
