Title:Environmental Protection Agency Science Inventory
Metadata Description:

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Science Inventory is a searchable database of current agency documents, including science activities (research, development, scientific and technical, and other papers) and scientific/technical work products (documents used to support a research agenda, regulatory program, policy position, or other). Products that have been reviewed and finalized, or activities which have been completed, are placed in a separate archive after one year. The database that powers the Science Inventory, the Environmental Information Management System (EIMS), contains all the inventory's documents as well as information on other documents, databases, datasets, models, and science activities. The information includes project descriptions, types of products, types of peer review, links to related work, and contacts for additional information. The database is searchable by keywords in title, objective, abstract, keyword field, or project field. It is also browseable by topic: water quality, pesticides, drinking water, and so forth.
