| Collection Description: | CHEMINFO from Indiana University is designed to help people find and learn how to use chemical information resources on the internet and elsewhere. It provides two main Resource Guides: SIRCh (Selected Internet Resources for Chemistry), which links to factual sources on the web, and CCIIM (Clearinghouse for Chemical Information Instructional Materials), which links to materials designed to instruct people in use of the reference tools relevant to Chemistry. CHEMINFO also offers a guide to free, web-accessible databases compiled and maintained at Indiana University and elsewhere; a guide to chemical information courses currently being taught at Indiana University; and access to the archives of CHMINF-L, the Chemical Information Resources Discussion List. |
