| Collection Description: | CAUSE is a national organization with the mission of supporting and advancing undergraduate statistics education in four target areas: 1) resources, 2) professional development, 3) outreach, and 4) research. The overarching goals in each area are: 1) Collect, review, develop, and disseminate resources for members of the undergraduate statistics education community; 2) Coordinate, develop, and disseminate opportunities, programs, and workshops for teachers and others involved in statistics education projects and initiatives, present and future; 3) Establish and promote communication and collaborations among statistics educators, as well as with other professional organizations and disciplines concerned with undergraduate statistics education; 4)R Establish the area of statistics education research as a recognized discipline with a visible presence, and prepare and connect researchers from all disciplines that conduct research in statistics education. The organization's primary vehicle for communication is CAUSEweb.org, which is supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation. |
