| Description: | The National Science Digital Library (NSDL) and the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) invite science educators in grades K-12 to join in their second season of web seminars. These seminars focus on a variety of science topics, including research into hotspots and mantle plumes and how to connect it into the classroom, resources for chemistry education, computational biology, and motivating students to seek careers in math and science. Each seminar will include information and resources for educators available on the NSDL website. Presenters from NSDL and other professional organizations with diverse backgrounds and experience will share their science expertise and answer questions live from the participants. Archives of the webcasts and PowerPoint presentations from seminar presenters, as well as the full schedule of upcoming webcasts, will be made available on the seminar website. |
