Topics include legal issues, the purchase, storage, and disposal of chemicals, chemical hygiene, and response to spills or accidents. There is also information on the use of plants or animals in the lab, protective equipment, laboratory layouts, glassware and electricity precautions, field-trip safety, and other topics. The site also includes a science safety checklist, recommendations for general lab safety, and links to safety information from other websites.
