Description:The American Museum of Natural History's (AMNH) Seminars on Science is a series of online professional development programs presented in two sessions beginning in the Fall of 2008. Courses include: Evolution; Earth: Inside and Out; The Ocean System; Genetics, Genomics, Genethics; The Link Between Dinosaurs and Birds; and Space, Time and Motion, and The Solar System. These online courses are designed around educators' schedules and provide access to cutting-edge research and world-class scientists. Each course costs $445. Graduate credit is available for additional cost from several institutions. P-credit from the New York City Department of Education is also available for some seminars.
