ncs-NSDL-COLLECTION-000-003-111-903
This collection of high-quality, peer-reviewed still images and videos from the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) provides comprehensive coverage of the field of cell biology. The items are organized by topic: cell contact and extracellular matrix; cell division, growth, and death; cell regulation; cytoskeleton and cell dynamics; and others. There is also a collection of images and videos selected especially for teaching purposes. The images are searchable by keyword and collection. Each image or video is accompanied by metadata, including title, author, a description, image production materials and methods, references, and others. Cell biologists are also invited to submit images for publication on the site. The images and videos are available for downloading; videos may also be streamed from the site.
