This rich problem has students study excellent examples of the presentation of data. Students analyze (1) a map of cholera cases plotted against the location of water wells in London in 1854 and (2) a map of Napoleon's march on Moscow in 1812-1813 to see what inferences they can draw from the data displays.

| Description | The Middle School Portal 2: Math and Science Pathways (MSP2) supports middle grades educators with high-quality, standards-based resources and promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing among its users.
