The dead zone is a part of the ocean that contains so little oxygen that the animals that live there are forced to flee or die. They are becoming more wide spread because of human impact. Many scientists think that climate change has played a role in the chronic coastal die-offs. This website has a short video that discusses dead zones and the reasons that these dead zones could be expanding. It also provides 3 links to other videos discussing similar subject matters.
