Timely Teaching will present recent and breaking research from various disciplines in the form of small clusters of full-text papers published in select primary journals. Each issue of Timely Teaching will look at a current or emerging topic in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Like Classic Articles in Context, Timely Teaching will feature a concentration of articles accompanied by a narrative overview that introduces the topic along with specific information on each article, discussion questions, and links to parallel content. Distinct from Classic Articles, which illustrates the progression of a research achievement over decades and the accumulative nature of scientific understanding, papers presented in a Timely Teaching issue will represent the diverse range of activity related to the subject at given point in time, thus offering teachers and learners multiple points of connection to to coursework.
